How do I change colors?
Tap anywhere on the screen to open the customization drawer. You'll see a palette of 10 vibrant iOS colors at the top. Simply tap any color to instantly change your display.
What are the display modes?
  • SOLID - Constant color display, perfect for holding up a steady light
  • PULSE - Smooth breathing effect that fades in and out
  • STROBE - Sharp on/off flashing effect for high-energy moments
How does Music Sync work?
Music Sync uses your phone's microphone to detect beats in real-time. Enable it in the drawer, grant microphone permission when prompted, and your screen will flash in sync with the music. Use the sensitivity slider to adjust the beat detection threshold.
Why is Music Sync locked?
Music Sync and Pro Themes are premium features available with a one-time purchase. This helps support continued development of the app. You can unlock all premium features for a small one-time fee.
How do I adjust the speed?
When using PULSE or STROBE mode, you'll see speed controls (+/-) in the drawer. The speed ranges from 10% (slow) to 100% (fast). Experiment to find the perfect rhythm for your light show.
The app is not detecting beats correctly
Try adjusting the sensitivity slider in the Music Sync section. Move it toward "High" for quieter environments or "Low" for very loud concerts. The optimal setting varies depending on your distance from speakers and ambient noise.
Does the app work at concerts?
Yes! LuminaCrowd is designed specifically for concerts and crowd events. The vibrant colors are optimized for visibility in large venues, and the full-screen display ensures your light is seen from the stage.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the customization drawer inside LuminaCrowd and use the Restore Purchases action. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple account used for the original purchase.

TROUBLESHOOTING

MICROPHONE NOT WORKING

Go to Settings > LuminaCrowd > Microphone and ensure permission is enabled. Then restart the app.

SCREEN DIMS DURING USE

Enable "Auto-Lock: Never" in Settings > Display & Brightness while using the app at concerts.

APP CRASHES ON LAUNCH

Update to the latest version from the App Store, then restart your device and try again.

PURCHASE NOT RECOGNIZED

Sign out of your Apple ID, sign back in, then open LuminaCrowd. Your purchases should restore automatically.
